Social Media & PR Executive, Retail Mall

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are looking for a dynamic Social Media & PR Executive to join our team, contributing to the growth and visibility of our new retail malls in Putrajaya.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute strategic social media plans and strategies to enhance the online presence and brand image of the malls.
  • Create engaging and shareable content across various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Manage social media accounts for the retail malls, monitor trends, and interact with our audience to build a vibrant online community (community management).
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns to promote the achievements, projects, and industry leadership of the new retail malls.
  • Foster relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to secure media & influencer coverage and partnerships.
  • Prepare press releases, articles, and other PR materials to communicate key messages effectively for the new retail malls.
  • Analyse social media and PR performance for the new retail malls, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, reporting to the Marketing Manager, to ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, news, and social media advancements to implement innovative strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 2 to 4 years proven experience in managing social media accounts and executing successful PR campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Creativity and proficiency in content management and creation platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
